Pile of GadgetsIt is easy to get bogged down with gadgets in our digital world. Most of us have a cell phone, an iPod or MP3 player, a digital camera and a laptop which we carry with us on a regular basis.

As evidenced by my “go bag” and HarriMac‘s, there’s plenty of analog stuff we geeks carry with ourselves on a daily basis, too!

But, today, I want to help you get control of your digital world. It won’t hurt, I promise, and you’ll be feeling a lot better physically and mentally once you get rid of some things by combining them, upgrading or downgrading!

My laptop went on the fritz this morning, so now I am looking at laptops online to find a good replacement. I hope to find a great laptop that is affordable but also offers a lot of the features I need to be productive.

laptoplogic.com offers great laptop reviews, so I have been checking this site out when I find a laptop I like on BestBuy.com and Amazon.com and vice-versa. Since I often try to buy laptops on clearance, because the price is a lot more reasonable, and because I do not need the top of the line, latest features that come on today’s laptops.

2 Must Have Windows Mobile Applications

SoulvilleSPB Mobile Shell is an amazing program! It truly organizes things in a way much better than Windows Mobile has made possible to date. I find it easier to customize how my screen looks and easier to find things like the file manager. I love the optional games you can get with SPB Mobile Shell. The best thing I think is how big it makes everything. Small is great if you’re on a touchscreen and you’re only going to use your stylus, but I prefer to use my fingers on my touch screen. Even if you don’t use a touch screen, this app is easy to use. I find it easier to dial numbers and find contacts. It’s colorful and hands down, the best app I have found so far. Rating: ★★★★★
