Send Thousands of Text Messages

Written by Ellie on Jun 23rd, 2008 | Filed under: Geek Girl

Geek GirlText Messages is a great FREE resource for sending thousands of text messages. This website includes text messages categorized into groups, so you can search just for text messages about “love” or jokes that are almost guaranteed to make the recipient laugh!

I use this website when I want to say HI to a friend, but want a more unique way to reach out to them than just texting HI to them. :)

Best Text - Ever!

If you want to send a message, open Google Send To Phone and type in your friend’s phone #, and copy and paste the message you want to send.

Check it out. Do you have a favorite text message website? If so, let’s hear it in the comments!

This special feature, Geek Girl, appears every Monday.

Starbucks now has free wireless

Starbucks

My new office has the oldest and slowest computer I’ve ever seen. So, I will walk across the street to Starbucks and hop on my laptop during lunch, just so I can catch up with my emails or Google Reader feeds.

This is only free wireless for 2 consecutive hours per day with a purchase made at least every 30 days with a Starbucks Card.

One of my biggest complaints about Starbucks is the expensive coffee, but to get free wireless for two hours while I savor a Caramel Frappachino might just be worth it!

There’s an extensive FAQ about the new wireless program - check it out. Seems like a good deal. Buy coffee once a month, and get 2 hours of free wireless per day!

Easter eggs IEverybody loves Easter Eggs, right?

Well, Google Reader has a neat Easter Egg, which I found on Google Blogoscoped.

Open Google Reader and type:

up up down down left right left right b a

Do you see it? If it weren’t so neat, I’d probably be annoyed.
