I was reading this comparison post between the iPhone 4s and the Droid Bionic and it got me thinking – besides the phones themselves and their specifics, why do you have a smartphone? What do you do with it? I’d love to see why other people have theirs and maybe get some new ideas for how to use my smartphone.
Right now I constantly do email and twitter, check the news, look up spur of the moment info, look up books (textbooks and pleasure books), occasionally listen to music or games on ESPN, take pictures, watch Netflix, keep up with where I’m supposed to be and what I’m supposed to be doing, check the weather, keep track of all my rewards cards, look at comics, check the bus schedules, prepare my grocery list, see what movies are playing, keep track of my lady business and doctor’s appointments and medications, find food locally and look up how to make new drinks, etc. I know that that’s a lot, but there has to be lots more!
What do you do with your smartphone? Do you think it’s done best on an iPhone or a Droid? Does it matter?
