I routinely misplace my cell phone and although I know it is here in my apartment, I can’t always find it easily. Where’s My Cell Phone solves my problem of a lost cell phone easily. I submit my phone number via the site and wait for a call - the ringing will help me determine where I hid my phone from myself or misplaced it.
What a wonderful, free tool to help us geeks - it is even faster than emailing or IM’ing a friend and asking them to call your cell phone for you, so that you can find it!
Where’s My Cell Phone is free and the company promises not to use your cell phone number for any reasons other than calling your phone for you when requested.
This special feature, Geek Girl, appears every Monday.

I love this post and appreciate you sharing it. I seem to have the same problem. I always throw my phone somewhere in my apartment and sometimes i have to wait hours before i can find it. because no one seems to want to call me during that time. So thank you that site will be visited constantly by me.
Yours truly

Most times, I find my phone under furniture. How it gets there is beyond me. I think there’s a little monster that lives in my apartment and hides my phone from me!

What an excellent service! Thanks for the info - my cell phone dons on a cloak of invisibility at the most inopportune of times.
