Text Messages is a great FREE resource for sending thousands of text messages. This website includes text messages categorized into groups, so you can search just for text messages about “love” or jokes that are almost guaranteed to make the recipient laugh!
I use this website when I want to say HI to a friend, but want a more unique way to reach out to them than just texting HI to them. 
If you want to send a message, open Google Send To Phone and type in your friend’s phone #, and copy and paste the message you want to send.

Thanks a bunch for the mention. I will have to use this more. It can get expensive when you don’t have text messaging on your plan.

I also find it handy to send emails. Usually you can send an email to a persons phone number at a certain email address and it will be converted to an SMS message for that user.
