Again, this is one of those tools that I’m not sure of. Does it really add value to the page? Or are people just clicking on ‘interesting’ or good looking avatars? I do use avatars in the comments, just for a little extra flavor, but I do notice a slowdown in page loads occasionally. I do not want my site’s load time to be compromised by such widgets, or unnecessarily large amounts of bandwith used, either!
What do you guys think?

I use MyBlogLog on my blog I think the avatars just add visual interest to the site plus its fun to see who the regular visitors are.
