How I Find Blogging Ideas

I’ve always been an observer of people and my surroundings. Often, this is where I get the bulk of my blogging ideas. Just sitting at a banquet and listening to the conversations around me can give me tons of ideas to use for blogging, or even spark a chain reaction of brainstorming that results in me writing a fantastic post or three!

Sometimes, I suffer from major writers’ block, and this is when I “take it to the street” to see what other bloggers are blogging about. If their ideas are inspired, but not fleshed out, I may expand on their post, or even write from a differing perspective.

Another way to find blogging ideas is to cruise the news websites, looking for something that peaks your interest. Since I write a lot about technology and lifestyle related topics, I often read tech news and sections on technology news on news websites. It’s amazing how much is going on in the world!

These are the three ways I find blogging ideas – observing or listening to others’ conversations, reading what other bloggers have to say, and using the online media to find inspired ideas.

What about you? How do you find blogging ideas? ❓
