Who are you?
I am Ellie – I am a recent graduate with a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and I have a background in Urban Studies, Public Administration and Finance. My research centers around political and social disenfranchisement of the poor and minorities in the United States and how to improve transportation options to give everyone more equal opportunities for better lives.
Technology is one of my first loves. I started my own web design and consulting company in 1998 and have worked on numerous projects, mainly for non-profits and small businesses. I rarely work on web design at the present, but I do provide consulting services on request. You can also hire me, the ultimate geek girl, and my team to do all kinds of work for you!
I discovered Twitter and now I can’t get enough. Twitter is a great way to connect with other people around the world with short 140 character messages. Check out my post about how to keep tweeting (writing Twitter messages) with free software programs and browser add-ons.
