Twitter recently deleted a lot of (spam) accounts, but that doesn’t mean that new spammers aren’t showing up every day to clog the twit-stream with porn, ‘get followers fast’ schemes and get rich quick schemes.
Follow Twitter’s lead and combat spam on your own.
1. Use TweetDeck to auto-report spam followers.

You’ve written a great e-book and now you want to publish it so that others can enjoy and learn from your research. There are several ways to accomplish self-publishing, including using paid e-book creator software, but I know it is just as simple to create a .pdf document for free.
First, you want to make sure your e-book is formatted into an easy to read and navigate document. Microsoft Word 2007 offers document element inserts, which include:

Yeah, I’m a geek girl and all, but I’d like YOUR input on purchasing a new laptop!
My biggest requirements are:
- Small size (no bigger than 14 inches wide)
- Good screen resolution/widescreen
- Under $1000
Is this too much to ask? HarriMac found a couple of laptops that sound great, but they all have Windows Vista. Is Vista a good idea? I’ve heard mixed reviews, so I want to get some feedback from YOU, my readers, on what to look for in a new laptop and where to get a new laptop!

I just finished reading about the Google Vulnerability which was present a few weeks go (but subsequently fixed). Basically, an unscrupulous website could add a filter to your Gmail email account – forwarding important emails out of your account and into the hands of bad guys.
Check your filters closely for any filters that may forward emails to another account, and take care to protect yourself from unknown websites!
I’m an avid book reader, and I have been looking for a way to catalog the books I own and have read. LibraryThing does this easily, plus it adds in social networking features such as ‘friends’, forums and local event listings.
One of the best features of LibraryThing is the ability to easily add books by title, author or ISBN number, then sort the books alphabetically by title or author, by publication date, tags, comments or rating. You can also display your books in a list or by covers,
