These are rough financial times for everyone (well, maybe not Bill Gates), but that doesn’t mean you have to cut out all vacations, all fun, all treats. It just means you have to get a little more creative.
If you’re a person who always makes an adventure out of a place and really looks for things to do, this will be rather easy. If you’re a person that never really finds much to do, this might be a little difficult but you’ll learn a lot by the time it’s all over.

My laptop went on the fritz this morning, so now I am looking at laptops online to find a good replacement. I hope to find a great laptop that is affordable but also offers a lot of the features I need to be productive.
laptoplogic.com offers great laptop reviews, so I have been checking this site out when I find a laptop I like on BestBuy.com and Amazon.com and vice-versa. Since I often try to buy laptops on clearance, because the price is a lot more reasonable, and because I do not need the top of the line, latest features that come on today’s laptops.

While Kuku Klok might be old news to some of you, this online alarm clock is new to me! Kuku Klok has some cool features that put it above most other online alarm clocks.

First things first, Kuku Klok works without an internet connection – so once you set the clock, you can disconnect your internet connection. The clock will still go off at the time you specified!
Kuku Klok also has some great sounds to choose from, so you can wake up to electronica, slayer guitar, a rooster or a traditional alarm clock.

Right now, most people are freaked out about eating peanut butter. STOP. Yes there is a massive recall and a huge amount of pretty much unregulated peanut butter has made people sick. But what’s on the shelf at your local grocery store hasn’t been recalled – stores are obligated to pull peanut butter that is affected by recall – and what’s in your cabinet may not be affected. Since peanut butter is one of those things that has a very very long shelf life, eating “older” peanut butter shouldn’t be an issue – I’m still munching on a jar I bought about a year ago and have a jar on my shelf that I bought over the summer. Neither are affected and are safe to eat. Check the location your peanut butter came from – if it’s from one of the plants that is under investigation or has been recalled, don’t eat it to be safe.

For many note takers, Evernote is a bit too powerful, Google Notebook is going the way of the dodo bird and Notepad just isn’t an acceptable replacement. CintaNotes, which comes in regular and portable versions, is lightweight and free – and has some of the features that have made Evernote popular – web clipping and easily editable notes.

If you just need a lightweight way to take notes – and take them with you, check out CintaNotes. It does have a lot of features, including searching notes and hotkeys. CintaNotes works with Firefox, IE and Safari on Windows PCs.
