About time! Firefox 3 officially supports built-in Gmail as your default email client support!
I showed you a hack back in July that would force Gmail to be your default email client.
However, for those who aren’t as comfortable with coding, try these quick steps to set your Gmail account as your default email client:
- Open the Options window (or Preferences on Linux and Mac).
- Click the Applications tab.
- Type “mailto” (without the quotes) in the Search Field.
- In the Action column Select “Use Gmail”.
- Click OK.
You do not have to restart your browser.

I’m flying “home” today to see my mom, and as usual, I get to the airport really early for my flight, in hopes that I will be able to snag a seat to relax in before we hit the skies!
Waiting at an airport gate, especially one like this one at Newark Airport, can leave you feeling like you will fall asleep at any moment or become so overcome with depression that you’ll get on a plane – any plane – to escape the dreary surroundings of the gate.

When your blog template isn’t working, change it! I know I have said a lot of things in the past about blogging and how to please your visitors, but at the end of the day, blogging is about what makes YOU happy!
I blog here because I enjoy sharing knowledge and challenging myself by coming up with blogging ideas every week. However, I cannot forget my obligation to myself to enjoy life – even blogging!

Not only did Twitter update its interface over the weekend, but I have been experimenting with various methods of updating my Twitter account. I never thought I’d get into Twitter – simply because I didn’t “get it” but now, I am addicted! I love reading other people’s tweets and corresponding with people around the world in a less regimented environment than this blog, for example!
I have come to truly appreciate the concept of “microblogging” – but read more at Wikipedia if you don’t know what Twitter is.

Using WordPress as your blogging software or even content management software is pretty easy, even for blogging software newbies. Personalization is what makes WordPress stand out, though. Not only can you use code to add functionality to your site, but you can also use any one of literally thousands of plugins to add features you want or need as well!
While I generally use around 30 plugins for this site, I do have a favorite… hands down —- RSS Footer.

When I moved, I decided that instead of buying a car, I’d rather commute by bike. The place I moved to isn’t that big and all the buses have bike racks so this wasn’t a difficult decision. I can rent a car when I need one. For others, the decision is based upon different reasons, such as health, the environment or saving money.
No matter your reason for choosing to commute by bike or even looking into the idea, I’m going to share what I’ve learned so far in my quest to be a biker.

Cloud computing is the wave of the future, according to many tech experts. So I decided to try the free online operating system (OS), icloud beta, which runs directly in your web browser (IE 6 or 7, Windows only), to see what all the hype is about.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I logged onto icloud, which is built upon XML and Ajax. Each program runs smoothly and built-in features with this beta release are enough to keep you coming back to icloud for your computing needs.

Here’s a video demo of the program at work:
