Many people are using Firefox because you can customize the browser to your specific wants and needs by using extensions.
In honor of the upcoming release of Firefox 3, let’s see what extensions you’ve been using to make Firefox 2.0.xx the best browser on the block!
Here’s a quick list of mine:
- Adblock Plus - I use this along with the EasyList USA file to blog most ads online - saving me tons of bandwidth!
- All-in-One Sidebar - Mostly handy for me to add additional function to my sidebar - I can switch between sidebars easily, now!

There’s nothing more annoying to some of your website visitors than a plain Jane 404 error page.

It is very easy in WordPress to create a customized 404 page for your site, which will help visitors locate the information they are looking for and keep them on your page longer!
Most themes come with a 404 page as part of the theme set, so from this point, I will assume you already have a 404 page in your theme. For more information on how to create a 404 page, visit the WordPress Codex.

I routinely misplace my cell phone and although I know it is here in my apartment, I can’t always find it easily. Where’s My Cell Phone solves my problem of a lost cell phone easily. I submit my phone number via the site and wait for a call - the ringing will help me determine where I hid my phone from myself or misplaced it.
What a wonderful, free tool to help us geeks - it is even faster than emailing or IM’ing a friend and asking them to call your cell phone for you, so that you can find it!
