Rave reviews and complaints galore abound all over the blogosphere about Amazon’s Kindle, the new portable book reader, which only weights 10.3 ounces – far less than the weight of the three or four books I typically carry on vacations or even short trips across the state.
The Kindle’s price tag at $399 299 may seem steep for some – but once you consider that the price of Kindle’s book offerings average 50-65% off print prices, you’ll be able to purchase more books for the same price that you would have spent on “real” books! Additionally, there’s no cost for the wireless access!
Google Reader has just started offering “Top Recommendations” on its homepage. This section lists feeds that you might be interested in, but aren’t subscribed to yet.
After clicking “View all”, you can see the entire list that has been computer generated for you thanks to an algorithm that aggregates your Google Reader subscriptions, Google Search history and location.
Information included for each feed include the estimated number of subscribers and average number of posts per week.
To the right is a screenshot of the box that is now located on the Google Reader homepage in the upper right hand corner.

I forgot how fun it is to share your desktop screenshots with other people. It’s a great way to find out more about the personality behind the blog or emails. Currently, I’m using a desktop wallpaper from wallpaperstock.net – it’s called Christmas Tux.

When upgrading your WordPress themes or just changing your theme to something new and fresh, look for Search Engine Optimized (SEO) WordPress themes.
What are you talking about? Search Engine Optimized (SEO) WordPress themes are themes that have had all of the “junk” taken out that will make your WordPress powered website slow to load, have hidden links to “bad” sites and more. With a SEO WordPress theme, you are taking away the power from the bad guys out there to ruin your site’s chance to rank for specific keywords online!

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. It is the only time that I get to spend with most of my family, due to our busy schedules and lifestyles.
To that end, I wanted to use a Christmas Firefox Theme. However, there aren’t any really good minimalist ones out there. So, I found some directions a couple of years ago from TwisterMC that work great.
- Find your userChrome.css file.
- Quit Firefox completely by selecting File > Exit in the toolbar or pressing the X in the upper right-hand corner of the browser.
I’ve had a really hard time composing this post, mainly because I’ve debated about who I should be mad at – if anyone; those who gave me advice that seems to have backfired, those who introduced me to PayPerPost and other paid blogging schemes or myself, for listening to them.
Then, I got sick and have spent the entire weekend in bed, which gave me plenty of time to think about what happened and what to do next with my blog.
There’s only one reason that I think contributed to my drop in PageRank:

Online Office programs, like Google Documents, require an Internet connection , which means if you do not have an internet connection available, you will not be able to view, edit or even create your documents, spreadsheets and presentations stored online.
Great and easy to use online word processor in the Zoho Office suite is now available for both online and offline use through Google Gears!
To use Zoho Writer in offline mode, just install Google Gears and restart your web browser. (Google Gears has versions for Internet Explorer and Firefox.)
